Angela I. Bezik joined The Vectre Corporation after working seven years as the Legislative Director for Delegate Terrie L. Suit in Virginia Beach. In this capacity, she supervised and managed legislative and public relations strategies and responses to legislative and constituent correspondence. These responsibilities also gave Bezik extensive interaction with other local, state, and federal representatives, departments and agencies.
Bezik has also been active in republican politics in the Hampton Roads area. Her direction of re-election activities on behalf of Delegate Suit included grassroots and campaign fundraising initiatives, outreach to community activists, and general political consulting. Bezik's political activities in Hampton Roads have also included work for republican Congressional candidates, statewide candidates and local office holders.
Bezik's experience as Legislative Director brings Vectre's clients an in-depth knowledge of the state legislative process and the experience to manage successful state public policy initiatives. Her well established relationships with numerous members of the House and Senate and their legislative staff give Bezik considerable experience and a unique perspective to assist Vectre clients within the Virginia General Assembly. She also maintains close ties to Virginia's Congressional delegation and local elected officials in Hampton Roads which also enables her to assist clients with federal and local projects.
In addition to her legislative and political activities, Bezik has maintained an active involvement in civic affairs in Hampton Roads. She helped establish and direct the activities of the Virginia Beach Student Leadership Forum, a program aimed and educating high school students about state government. She is also a graduate and current member of Leadership Hampton Roads. Bezik has also been involved in various volunteer activities over the years with a number of organizations including Edmarc Hospice for Children, Make a Wish Foundation, and the UDT/SEAL Association.
