Julie M. Dime

Julie Dime brings over 12 years of political and legislative experience to The Vectre Corporation.  Prior to joining Vectre, Julie served as the Legislative Director and Senior Campaign Advisor to Delegate Tim Hugo and former Delegate Tom Bolvin. She oversaw all aspects of the legislative and public relations strategies and responses to legislative and constituent correspondence.  In her capacity as Legislative Director, Julie has established solid relationships with legislators and staff, as well as administration and state agency staff.

Julie has an extensive background in grassroots management, public speaking, fundraising, community outreach initiatives and both federal and state legislative processes.  She has been active in Northern Virginia political circles for many years and as such, she has established a substantial network of resources and connections in the Northern Virginia and District of Columbia area including local elected officials and business leaders.
 
Julie began her political career with former California Governor Pete Wilson.  She served on the Governor's re-election campaign staff, the Inaugural Committee staff and as special assistant to the National Political Director for Governor Wilson's 1996 Presidential campaign.  Julie also worked for Governor Wilson in his District of Columbia liaison office.
 
Julie has also worked for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners as the legislative assistant to the Director of Health Insurance Policy and for Baker and Daniels law/lobbying firm in the District of Columbia.
 
In addition to her legislative and political activities, Julie is active in her community and civic groups, including Special Olympics and the American Cancer Society in Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia.  Julie is often asked to speak to women's organizations and civic organizations on various political and legislative issues.  She is an active member in Calvary Road Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia.
